Crows REALLY hate hawks. And while a crow might try and eat a duckling too, they will go out of their way to spitefully thwart hawks and eagles.

Crows protecting ducks from hawks has the same energy as humpback whales throwing down with orcas on sight and protecting animals of completely different species from the orcas.

Crows hate hawks. We had a whole murder of crows beefing with a couple of redtails 24/7 in my neighborhood. The crows used to hold funerals in my backyard and give me shinies because I gave them dog kibble once in a while.

As an Australian who is used to random animals jumping out all the time, some cute and some scary. I reckon Florida would be the state I feel most at home in over in the US.

I don't think the duck shared food with the fish, more like it was just using the water to eat it, and the fish were trying to snatch the food out of its mouth while it was drinking the water
