I dont mind the change (since I aim for the pro anyways) but I think that large gap such as spring will do more bad then good. Since the hype around the iphone is the biggest at launch and shortly after, I think that people will just deal with the fact that they wont buy the phone they want right now and later may realize that they dont actually need it. And that group of people will be bigger then the ones caving in and buying a pro instead. They should release it late november/early december in my opinion. That way people will still be relatively hyped and christmas timing also halps

under-the-screen front cameras should be more focused than foldable phones...

real reason is that Apple wants all the hype and new sales to be pushed to the most expensive products

If the base iPhone is released together people question the reasons to go pro, plus people waiting to upgrade this year can either to pro or go home.
Really they should drop the base model and just have the pro and pro max and lower the prices a bit and theyβd dominate the market.
