It's definitely worth it, so much stuff are going up in price including the Switch 2 soon.
0:44 That's an LPN. It means it's been bought from Amazon, returned, and processed back into the system, and then resold on Amazon. Anything that gets returned and processed through an Amazon Relo site will have an LPN. Whether it gets resold as new, WHD/AR (warehouse deals or as it's being renamed "Amazon Resale"), unsellable (return to vendor), liquidation (wrapped batch on a pallet usually for super cheap or at auction), donation, or destroy/recycle. I work at a relo site.

That’s a LPN that could’ve been sourced from Amazon. It’s essentially a warehouse deal product, which means it’s either refurbished or partially damaged but still sells for a lower price.
I never tire of watching you fix things.

Great example video - detailed explanations about disassembly, and a clear example why you should do everything the right way and that you always should have more than 1 replacement chip/board.
A little bit smart ass suggestion, but you could temporary remove the nearby capacitors and reflow the faulty component a lot easier. Waiting for the next car restoration video!

LPN (License Plate Number) is Amazon's way of tracking customer returned units. It can either be new or unsellable. Could be bought by the person from salvage/liquidation from Amazon, however I highly doubt that such a high value product would have been liquidated by any seller. Seems like the person has his own seller account at Amazon... But at Amazon... You never know...
Few people know the sheer joy when you repair something and it actually works when you press the button on! My most prized thing is Gameboy Printer I bought for 'parts only' that risen from the dead - it's not a match for your much more complex stuff, but still worth a bit!
