We love putting our ‘Normals’ under pressure and throwing them into an Ultimate Battle. In this episode, we put them to the test by challenging them to create a fusion dish from two cuisines to see if their cooking can create the perfect marriage of flavours. Have a watch to see if they managed to pull it off! Get the recipes here... if Jamie was to get Spanish and Mexican, would have been a minor minefield , might have ended up on Spanish news again :P
I think Barry would have received 1st place if he had 17 more fries at the end.
"Who else is physically and emotionally drained after that battle" James : *lifts his hand* 😂😂😂
The music cutting out when Jamie was scooping out eggshells was perfection
It's been 47 and a half years 😂😂 Jamie definitely has a flair for the dramatic
Pass It On: Fusion: The pass it on crew, after being ordered, picks a cuisine out of a hat. Then, when the third person in line comes in they have to pull another cuisine which to fuse with what is already present. The first two people would thus have no idea what to expect at the end.
I dont even Need a Winner. The wholesomeness and the nice comments from Jamie, Mike and Barry we're Just so cool. Love the harmony.
Jamie: who else is physically and emotionally drained after that battle? James who has done nothing so far through the video: *raises hand* what a mood
Barry: 'stop eating my chips!' Mike and Jamie: *keep stealing chips*
Ben: every bite takes you on a journey James: BEEF IS GOOD
You guys should do an ultimate “redemption” battle where you each remake a dish that didn’t go as planned in a previous battle!
The food tech GCSE this year was on british cuisine. Got told that I couldn't do a roast dinner in 3 hours- only gone and done that and 2 other dishes 🥴🥴
"British and Moroccan" Clearly, the answer is Mark's moroccan pasta from Peepshow. :DD
As a Cajun living in Louisiana, I agree with Jamie that it feels like forever chopping the vegetables just to have them cook down into nothing. lol
When you press ‘play’ so quick upon seeing the notification, you don’t even see the title, just “sorted”! Though I think Barry should have won, his fusion dish looked amazing but then so did Mikes... so yes I can see how they were close!
Mike was more excited by Barry’s pun than he was about winning
I love how everyone immediately had flashbacks to Jamie’s paella burrito
"Fusion" and "normal" Immediately think of the paella burrito saga 😂 sorry Jamie, love you
I am going to have to try cooking Mike's dish - I'm British and my husband is Moroccan!
Not gonna lie. I love the battles but this is the one I most wanna eat. They all look so utterly bizzare yet delicious. Reminds me of the Peru stir fry with rice and French fries which you guys did ages ago!
