What a fantastic challenge to take on with your daughter. I am vegetarian, but I find it so refreshing hearing you talk about respecting an animal by using every part. You are incredibly open-minded and showed a deep respect for cultural differences in cuisine. Asian food is amazing and we shouldn’t be frightened to try new (to us) and interesting food. I utterly adore your family. Another brilliant video ❤
I give your kids a ton of credit for being adventurous! Kudos to both you and your beautiful family!

You are such a great dad! And I love that your kid is like "let's try some duck blood, dried shrimps and pigs trotters". I was always an adventurous eater and 25-ish years ago (when I was a teenager), my peers though I was super weird. But I love that (at least one) teenagers are more adventurous today. I loved this challenge, because sometimes you go to the Asian supermarket, you buy stuff and then it lives in the cupboard 😅 It is a good idea just to put it straight on the meal plan 😎 Good job, both of you!
Karl, you seem to notice every tiny need of your loved ones and then help them. With her hair in the wind, her nails etc. I find this so beautiful that you have this talent and values!
I love that payton isn't afraid to try new things! Really interesting selection of stuff.
I'm Asian 🙃 Your family would love being in Asia! Food is such a thing there 🙌
you two are just brilliant. What a duo, just enjoyed all of this so much. Thanks guys from Cat 💕💕
The japchae glass noodles make excellent filling for egg rolls. I was so excited to see this video post. I was really looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. You might be interested in Korean army stew as a way to use up leftover bits and pieces. My family enjoys it on really cold nights.
Love this challenge, you both made some delicious looking meals, lovely to see Peyton getting involved in the challenge. 😍To help release the juice in the lime give it a good roll along a hard surface and a good squeeze before cutting it and squeezing the juice out, makes it easier and helps get more out of it.
I’m only a few minutes in and this is already such a wholesome video I need to comment! Can’t wait to watch the whole thing :) what an amazing young woman you have in your daughter!
Aw, what a beautiful family! No idea how you raised them kids but bloody well done! Some teens nowadays won't touch anything that's not mcd or chippy lol. Thoroughly enjoyed this video, next time you need to do one with your lad! All the best
I have Filipino in-laws and it’s been hilarious. They knew that my family is incredibly white and expected the stereotypical white people reactions they saw a lot in the Philippines. Instead they got my cousin who will eat nearly everything and me who will eat everything. I’ve had balut with them, several times I’ve been told “oh I’m sorry I made it too spicy” and I respond with “and when did you hear me say it was too spicy?” As my nose starts running. I showed her all the local Asian markets and knew where to get everything available locally, she was amazed she had all her ingredients within a month of moving here. It’s incredible how much can fit in a small little market and how very different they can be from each other.
the respect you show to her partner and the same he shows to you both is beautiful, my family unit is very similar its so wholesome to see. we love watching you! x
Even though Im vegan, I appreciate that you are mindful to make the most use out of the whole animal. I know my lifestyle isnt doable for everyone but always appreciate when they are mindful of where it comes from/most use from the animals life. I really enjoyed watching you and your daughter planning and cooking throughout the challenge it was so wholesome!
You have some good Asian grocery stores to choose from.
Hats off to you for trying different types of food ... you make me want to test my own culinary boundaries a bit. I really respect your attitude about respect to food and trying to eliminate waste. Nice challenge.
Liked & hyped! Thank you and your daughter for this entertaining video🎉❤
This was adventurous! I have never eaten ramen noodles. All the dishes looked delicious, and I am definitely going to try some of them. Your daughter Peyton, is beautiful.💚
My husband used to put that fried dace on rice and warm it up ,if you cook rice in rice cooker with chiinese sausage on top when the rice is cooked slice sausage on top and top with a poached or fried egg it's tasty😅
