Y’all really be reaching. That’s all wrong. If you paid attention, you would know STACK smelled him and told him he was going to die soon. Then offered to bite him. You didn’t see his reflection due to the camera angle. Also he had that voice when he was singing for STACK in the car.

No if you actually paid attention to the beginning youll actually learn that Sammy is what you’d consider a Greol =Basically someone who is connected to the ancestry of their lineage in his case it was the musicians . That’s why he’s so good at it and when he’s in the club you see all the spirits from the past and future of music.

Sammie never sold his soul to the devil. When elderly Sammie was talking to vampire Stack at the bar, you can clearly see Sammie's reflection at the bottom right corner of the mirror. People didn't pay attention to the fact that Sammie was sitting down while Stack was standing up. People were too focused on the area where Stacks reflection would've been. Regarding the last end credit scene of young Sammie singing "This Little Light of Mine", I don't think the devil was at the doorway of the church when Sammy looked up. I think it was his father at the doorway. The way Sammie was singing "This Little Light of Mine" wasn't in the traditional manner that a gospel song is sung. The way he was singing it would be considered secular to church folk. So it would make sense that his father would pop up to reprimand him

Inaccurate. You left out the part where he goes back to church and repents. So he was actually seeing God and whatever he received from his music were blessings from God. Stack even says "the music sounded like dog shit back then" which insinuates that he cleaned it up based on his experience and encounter with God. Ao he actually saves his soul instead of selling it.
