An early morning walk through the fields and traditional houses of Shirakawa-go, a traditional Japanese mountain village and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Gifu, Japan. The village is known for its thatched roof houses, picturesque rice fields, flowing canals, and beautiful natural landscape. As an American I am supremely envious of this. There are places in this country that feel nestled into nature like this but I've never been fortunate to live in one. Homogenized concrete neighborhoods for me so far. Living apart from nature rather than within it. This is a beautiful treasure and the stuff of fairy tales.

I watch your videos in blocks cause I don't get enough time because of my studies but whenever I do I put Japanese songs playlist of Lamp and Ichiko Aoba and with a cut of coffee it feels like as if I am walking through Japan with Headphones on my ears with low volume to listen to the sound of nature too, I really love it!!
