Yes Lenovo does give out their branding to third party Chinese manufacturer for a number of things, like cheap Bluetooth speaker, headset, and now a handheld
Thankfully I was able to get my favorite snack and drink licensed to me by Lenovo, so I’m all set for this video.
To my ears, the audio issue sounds like it's only playing one channel (only left or right) rather than downmixing the audio to mono first. There have been other handhelds that do this like the old Datafrog SF2000. One way to test this is to set the emulator or Retroarch to mono audio and see if the "missing" audio is suddenly there.

I've just been reading Lenovo have forced retailers to pull its G02 retro gaming handheld from the likes of Aliexpress and Temu. It was never meant to be sold outside of China,especially being pre loaded with games.
R36s got so popular it made Lenovo clone it too
