I bought this little My Arcade Tetris mini arcade from eBay as “untested”. Obviously that means that it's had a prior repair attempt. Let's crack this open and see if we can figure out why it's not working and get it going again... Hope you enjoy! Steve PS. I'm not an expert in repairs at all. I do this for fun, and it may not be the best or safest way to go about repairing broken stuff. I'm pretty good at melting plastic though. Please don't copy me - I'm an idiot. Finally you test things before putting them back together. I've waited years for that!
I noticed that you haven't been as enthusiastic about the purity of the IPA lately. I worry you might end up cutting it out completely some day. It is the highlight of the video for me. I think such a high percentage of purity deserves some real excitement! PUUUUUUUUUUUURE!!
People with kids usually would like to break the speakers 😂
This "untested" thing where the item has clearly been mutilated first is just flat out scummy fraud. Nice fix though :)
Do you ever send a link to your videos to the ppl on Ebay that you bought "untested" crap from? Just to show them that they are not as clever as they thought ?

Well, I'll always be game for a bit of The Cardigans! Well done.
I was going "Stupid game" and then he said it! Wohoooo
5:06 not cleaning off that glue stuff first gave me so much anxiety and idek why 🤷♀️
Untested = almost Certainly very Broken 😂
What a nice friendly warm cuddly desolder repair on a warm Sunday with Steve and glue and cleaning joints.. lovely...
In Steverson electronics, “clean it up” is a euphemism for “dilute the mess”.
A fine Cardigans cover off a great album Gran Turismo
Sunday is now complete 👍😁 Liked and hyped
I must add Scissors to my Toolbox
For a minute there, I really thought you'd bought an actual Tetris arcade cabinet from 1990.
I must be still hungover. In the clip it looked like a full sized arcade machine
2:46 Simply rotate the battery casing 360°. There's no need to desolder the wires.
If it is a stupid thing it is getting fixed. Good job, Steve
I have bought something untested that worked. It was a virtual boy AC adapter. I'm pretty sure it was actually untested because they didn't have a virtual boy lying around to use it with. It worked fine. If only all "untested" listings were as honest.
