The camera improvements are because they're moving to a stacked sensor, which improves capture speed and light sensitivity. It's not just because iPhone is moving from Sony to Samsung, all sensor manufacturers are working on similar tech.
I don’t like the sharp edge on one end and curve on the other side should of just made both sides sharp.

You don’t understand how this variable aperture is going to work. You’re not getting a lower aperture than iPhone already have and therefore you will not get more blurred backgrounds. What you are getting is the ability to close down the aperture which will mean that more of what is in the scene will be in focus.

I get the iPhone fold may be practical being Apple to fit an iPad mini into your pocket but for the cost of it I would rather buy an iPhone pro / pro max and an iPad
