For this video I wanted to do something different than our other videos. I have created a long form video to help anyone that doesn't know much about cooking, or anything at all, get into cooking. Basic techniques or holding a knife, seasoning food, cutting vegetables, marinating meat, making sauces, plating dishes, and so forth. The goal is that by watching this video you will come to see that cooking is really quite simple and that it doesn't take much effort at all, just some time, some love, and some fun. Please feel free to share this with anyone that may be interested, perhaps someone that has always wanted to cook but never thought they could. Remember cooking is easy and if you put in the time it will be an extremely rewarding experience.

You're like the Bob Ross of cooking.
You're the chillest cook ever.
"Doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to taste good"
It's cool as shit that you took the time to make a meal from start to finish rather than just cutting from scene to scene until you arrived at a finished recipe. It seemed more authentic that way. And explaining simple things, that alot of people don't know, made it seem ok to make mistakes and things can still taste good. Which is true, but I think that fear of not knowing what to do scares people out of the kitchen, so this will help some people I'm sure.
Are you the guy from Ratatouille?
I'm 16 yrs old right now and have never ever cooked before (no, I'm not proud of that fact). But this video made me want to try it out. Thanks a lot !
After finding your channel i've fallen in love with cooking and i have this growing passion for it! All of your videos and challenges they helped me a ton, the main reason i never really pursued this was because seasoning things scared me a ton i didn't know how to use them or anything. But, after observing a couple of your videos i found out you just have to experiment and find what you like with what! For that i'd like to thank you, so here i am and Thanks A Ton!
"by the time this video is done, the video's gonna be done" lmfao
You are the bob ross of cooking.
Needed this! Just got married and I lack kitchen common sense. I literally only know how to make breakfast food; which is great when I don't burn it. It's time to stop being a microwave chef... wish me luck!
I'm ten-years old and I've been cooking since I was five. My mom finally gave me permission to use the oven alone, and this video was helpful! Thank you very much.
Wow, I can't believe I watched the whole thing! I could listen to you talk all day! And I felt like we were old friends really just hanging out and enjoying good food and good times. Thanks for that! I loved the video and the food all looked good. I wanted to ask, though, where did you get that funky knife and your awesome cutting board? I love them!:D
u messed up the egg didnt you?
I wish there were more videos exactly like this one on this channel.
this is seriously helping a lot of people. I remembered when i first start cooking, there was nothing other than cookbooks and my mom's teaching. This is life changing. kudos
I can't believe I watched the whole thing. I learned a lot aswell ! Thanks
I'm 18 and I've always sucked at cooking, but, these days my parents are always busy and we end up eating more fast food than we should. I'm sick of that, and I'm really glad I found your videos because you inspire me. Right now, I'm hoping to be a competent enough cooker so when I move out I won't have to go out allll the time.
this is a great public service. i think a lot of people are not eating well simply because they do not know how to do this stuff. this guy give kind encouragement also and that is a great help i think for a lot of people. if they would learn how to shop and how to cook they would be eating a lot better. learning in addition how to cook for leftovers is a great help because leftovers make for good healthy low cost meals. learn how to cook for leftovers, and how to store them is a safe manner so you can heat something up quickly in the microwave.
"Yellow peppers... I think they're just yellow." I'm getting this on a plaque
I watched this video front to back, and my head is nearly ready to explode from the amount of stuff you taught me. I'm actually about to go cook myself a meal right now because this video gave me the confidence too! Great video, and you'd make a great teacher.
