Freshly made kimchi This is different than the fermented kimchi. This is more like KIMCHI SALAD where itβs freshly made to serve known as the Geotjeori. Typically youβll get this type of kimchi as a side dish or with your hand-cut noodles (Kalguksu). BCD is def known for their freshly made kimchi. It was hard to edit this down to 60 second but let me know if you want me to drop the full version here. Hope you enjoy!! Peace & Sarang βπΌβ€οΈ Happy Holidays~

After seeing the recipe Iβll just buy it at the mart
i feel like it looks so much more tasty when itβs home made and put together instead of store boughtπ
I keep collecting huge ass jars knowing damn well I'm never going to make this for myself so eventually I'll have 500 huge ass jars and can start a business by hiring people to make it for me and sell it at inflation prices πππ

μ¬μ΄ κ±° λ§μ. He said "easy" and yes, this is an easy version. For those who complain that it is not easy, you gotta see the whole family working a full day to prepare the amount of kimchi enough to fill a fridge full. His recipe is also simpler compared to what I know and have seen.
My mom keeps so many jars for sengchae, Kaktugi and kimchi she could open a business π
This looks great. I just bought a jar at Walmart.
Feed person kimchi, feed for day. Teach person kimchi, feed for life. π€©
we made 7 lbs of kimchi using this recipe, it's our first time making it and it came out soo good!! but soo spicy, and i'm mexican so i can handle my spice but damn this is SPICY! and sour! we've been going through our batch lol. def gonna make this again!! π₯
Taste so good, I went a little light on the gochugaru (can't tolerate spicy foods too well), and instead of shrimp paste, I used fish sauce. It was divine π
BEST RECIPE EVER! I will probably never go back to store bought unless otherwise. Itβs a MUST make yaβll! You the BEST Chef Chris Cho!! ππΌ
itβs such an easy recipe but thereβs so many ingredients I donβt have!
This is the most complicated kimchi recipe I've seen lmao π
For so long I've wondered what kimchi was and as someone who LOVES cabbage and anything spicy this is AMAZING
Iβll buy it at Walmart and then feel the regret after eating the entire jar. Itβs not my fault it taste so GOOD
I could make it if I had the ingredients.. And the cooking skills. AND PATIENCE
I looooooove kimchi! I feel like I was Korean in a former life I swear. I love Korean food so much. β₯οΈ
I used your & Maangchi's recipes: I used a 48 oz. glass jar, added salted/rinsed napa & boy choy, daikon, green onion & carrot, then I made the paste just like your recipe (I used bartlett pear bc thats what I could findπ & no corn syrup, pear was enough sweet for meππΎ), rice porridge included. Omg its my 1st time making kimchi! I had a little leftover & ate w/rice. Can't wait to eat the fermented version in a few days! I'm saving so much $...a small jar is $7-$9, a medium jar is $14-$15 & u don't get to have extra daikon, carrot or whatever else. So so good! Thank you!π₯¬πΆοΈπ₯π«π§ π§π«πππ©·π©΅
