Imagine you're a college student who watches joshua and then one day he randomly appears in your dorm with your roommate showing him the kitchen.
I thought Josh was going to go through the students' pantries and fridges and cook them a meal from what he found. Would've loved to see him make a gourmet freezer rat dish
PLEASE Josh do a whole series going to different college student flats/houses and cooking in there with what you can find!! Im beggin you I've been looking for professional chefs to do something like this for years
Not a College student. I'm a 41 yr old dad. Just made the noodles with the stir-fried pork for my family. Solid meal. Keep up the good work, JW
This needs to be a series, and it doesn’t have to be “for students” or something like that. I’m an adult and I need more of these recipes lol
If you do this again, it would be so helpful for you to only use ingredients available at students local grocery store! As a college kid who’s only nearby grocery store is a Target Express, high quality and specialty ingredients aren’t often available or cost effective :( this would be super helpful for lots of us!
I would love to see a meals challenge for those on food stamps/ebt/snap. Many of us on ebt have as little as 3 dollars a day to work with, sometimes to feed two people. It would be really helpful to have some idea as to how to somehow make that work, if it's possible.
The random Babish knife is sending me! 😂😂 And the “it’s the bulker! He’s a savage” straight up floored me
As a current college student (and this only applies to my personal experience), I have a caveat to all of these recipes: they only work if you have an apartment. A dorm will not work with nearly all of these, mostly because it'll be a single kitchen shared in a dorm of 120+ people (on the low end). Clearly Joshua has no anxiety since he goes to strangers' living spaces and judges their kitchen appliances, but it'd be interesting to see him challenged in that environment.
Not even a college student, just a tired dad looking for quicker yet super tasty meals. Really looking forward to making a bunch of these in the coming weeks!! Update: I made 3 of these so far! Pork stirfry, this was insane, so much intense flavor, probably better than 80% of any style of stirfry I've gotten from a Chinese restaurant. Garlic chili oil noodles: Very intense flavor, very good overall. Make sure to use a full pack of noodles. I used about 3 of the 5 bundles of a 16 Oz pack and the chili oil was extremely spicy/overpowering. French toast sticks: Absolutely delicious, super easy to make, pepper added into a cinnamon sugar mixture is a MUST for me from now on.

I am no college student but I am a mum in the throes of postpartum depression. Cooking and meal planning has been such a challenge for me lately so I am very grateful and excited to try out your easy dishes! I especially love that you gave us a cost break down at the end. And the fact that this will dirty a minimal amount of dishes is a huge plus! Thankyou, thankyou!

"Easiest meal" lists 7 seasonings i don't have
The dude talking about the bulker and the bulker's dad had me sobbing, it had no reason being that funny. Edit 1: THE BABISH KNIFE YESSSSS
Josh seeing the Babish Knife had me laugh so hard maaaaan. I would love a "college cooking" series forreal. Wonderful video as always !
Honestly I would watch a series of joshua going to different dorms and cooking with their food
I love how Joshua has his new studio kitchen for maybe an entire month and then immediately goes to check out how the plebes cook their meals.
i would love to see more of this series but him cooking IN the college kids’ apartments AND using their budget !!! it would be even more realistic bc as much as i appreciate these recipes, let’s be honest, not everybody is able to find nori sheets or puff pastry just like that 😭😭
As once a russian uni student, I am laughing with tears on these conditions😂 These are full-size apartments, not college dorms I remember I was living in a room the size of their kitchen, sharing with a friend (and was lucky, because others lived by 4 usually, I also did for first 2 years). We had only a 2-store bunk, 2 tables, a wardrobe and an old fridge, that we have repurchased from other students, 6 toilets for a floor (100 people) and 6 douches for a building on a ground floor level (3 floors- guys, 1 floor girls, for girls there were separate 6 douches) 2 kitchens for a 100 people on the floor (2 stoves, 8 plaques, usually only1 stove and around 4 plaques were working, all in horrible conditions) The life and cooking were very different then
