Interesting cause when I make lasagna I don’t precook the sheets as in the pan the pasta cooks in the sauce and it always comes out perfect but I might try this (if you don’t cook them be careful that there is enough sauce on top to cook it as it can often get crunchy)
I merely DON’T precook the noodles and let the sauce cook them. Works perfectly every time!
This just changed everything, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Why let it set for 30 minutes when I can boil them?
This is good for me because my noodles sometimes break apart when I’m done boiling them
I followed this and they came perfect
Add boiling SALTED water.
This will work for me because I can no longer lift heavy pots to drain them. I just made lasagne and I used the no boil lasagne sheets but they came out a little mushy for my taste. With this method, I can take them out of the water while they're still al dente! 😁
Thank you for sharing this information 💯
Trying this next time! FYI that cheesy piece looks amazing 🤩
That’s literally the same thing.. you’re just cooking it a different way.. what?
WoW!!! This was such a jewel. Ty❤
I would love to try this, but this would be using the same pan that I need to build the lasagna (my granddaughter only has one pan that looks like this)
Or you can use oven ready lasagna noodles. But that is a great tip, it prevents over cooking.
They love to stick together this way!
This is the opposite of efficient??
Thank you! 🙏🏿 😊
I spread each dry noodle with the ricotta and layer it in the pan with the cheese and sauce. I grew up never boiling them.
Nobody precooks lasagna noodles anymore. 😂
People pre cook lasagna noodles? Never heard of that. Is it an American thing?
