Under promotion have 2 main usage. 1. Avoid stalemate. 2. Force check to gain tactical advantage. (Fork, attraction, ...)
Triangulation is a great tactic- never heard it it before! Constantly in a mirrored-battle of who blinks first is frustrating. Ensuring when they move it will NOT mirror (unless they also understand this half-step) guarantees winning the piece, all without causing 3X repetition.
i never knew that some of these existed
Yo how is that even possible
While the list of tactics is comprehensive, I did not enjoy the video. Too many dumb emojis and "meme" gifs.
Left out the trapped piece, which is rare enough I expected it to be your last item. A piece that is attacked but has no safe moves.
You forgot one thing (four piece Chicken McNugget) in chess you have 4 pieces(majors)attacking a castled king 👑 meaning you have a mate in 4 or 2
W video
Perpetual check???
bro dont type "ts",it doesnt means "this" 7:46
Greek gift works only if you can play the knight check with some piece defending it (usually to avoid the Queen capture but also to prevent the king from taking it) and you have cleared way for the queen check (just make sure there's no knight on F6 before you premove) Personally I only go for it if I have a pawn on E5, go check out the GM Igor Smirnoff's video, he even recommends an opening that allows it often if you want to practice
I once did a knight under-promotion and i checked their king. Idk if it helped me win the game, but I think it may have.
What about the crazy queen?
Seems nothing was said or explained on " perpetual checks" It was missed out. Great content nevertheless.....thumbs up!
I already know under promotion
ik all of them lol
Thanks for the video, but the flashing animation is hell of distracting.
