Its also depends on the hinge wear and tear. If it used heavily than it will open without any issue but its new than it maybe little tricky to do this.

That's actually works for pro models due to it's heavy lower design

its about technique if you lift it directly up it won't but if you push back while doing it it will open easily. also the hinges of the laptop gets smoother or starts sticking the more you use it. so this can totally happen

Absolutely, This happened with my Mac too. I've got MacBook Air M1 and in intial days the lid wasnt opening with 1 hand but after a few days the hinges got free and was able to open the lid easily with 1 hand.

aree jab jyada time tak nhi use karte toh mac ke hinges tight hojate mere pass mac hai m4 pro dono chizon ko experience kiya hu jab kaam nhi rehta ideal pada rehta band aur uske baad kholne jao toh uth jata poora aur jab har din kaam krte ho toh voh ek baari m aaram se khulta
