Yeah it IS insane how small modern transistor nodes are but the machines that actually make them are even more insane. And the most advanced ones are made by a single company, ASML.

When they taught as about transistors at university and the professor said that an electron cloud is formed between the gates of the transistor, and that forming or removing that cloud basically means switching it on or off... That's something I'll never forget.
