I have been on the 18/6, or sometimes 20/4 eating window for 7 months, it's difficult for the body to get used to it in the beginning it takes about 2 constant weeks. Cutting out most carbs, bread chips, crisps, potatoes, and sugar cakes, pudding candy, and junk works for me. I start about 11h00 or later with brunch: eggs cheese avos, or sometimes just oats and coffee And by the latest 16h00, the last meal is done protein and veggies. My body is so used to it and absolutely content. No hunger or cravings. I have lost 17 kg, and my skin is clear. I walk 5000 steps or more, if possible, a day and keep moving if possible. Most cramps aches and pains are gone, and reflux healed. I sleep deep and feel better than a few years ago.
I’m on hour 30 of fasting
People told me I was crazy in the 80's and 90's when I did this for wrestling🤣 Now at 55, I look and feel 20 years younger🌌🌞🧬💪🏽🖤1🪶
I'm on hour 64 trying to complete a 72 hour fast
this is 100% accurate. I have been fasting for a few years now and feel amazing. i do the 16 hours as a general way of life... and then i throw in some prolonged fasting, 3, 5 and 7 days.
7:38 after a 48 hour fast, hard boiled eggs are my favorite easy to digest and fulfill protein.
The part about the 'backup generator' sitting in your basement finally made fat loss make sense to me. I've read 50 articles about fasting and none of them explained it this simply.
A quick shout out to your animation team . They r doing such a great job with these animations making understanding much easier and a picture paints a thousand words indeed ! Awesome graphics
fasting must be done with drinking lots of water. like cleaning dirty house. without water, you'll look very old after fasting
Smash burger ad during this video doesn’t help 😂
I have fasted for a 100hrs plus, many times. Weighing 160lbs at 5'8" tall, I never lost more than 5 pounds, and I never ever saw my abs. Just don't want people to think if they stop eating for 3 days, they are going to see their abs after that. If you don't see your abs now, or never have, the odds are you won't. I am 58 years young and I have never seen my abs so I know it will take a lot more than fasting to get them to show themselves.
The clarification that the fasting clock doesn't start until insulin clears post-prandially is crucial. A late, high-glycemic meal chemically locks the adipocytes, meaning a 12-hour chronological fast might only yield 6 hours of actual biological fasting.
Crazy how the body starts repairing itself during fasting 😮 I’ve experienced the energy boost part — anyone here ever made it to the later stages?
Meal prep the day before and dont eat past 8pm. If you can stop at 630-7 that's even better
Mind-blowing breakdown of these 6 stages! 🤯 I usually hit a wall around stage 3, but knowing the benefits of autophagy makes me want to push further
Interesting breakdown, but some of these timelines feel a bit too clean. Biology usually doesn’t work in exact hour-by-hour switches. Makes you wonder how much of this is simplified for clarity versus what actually happens in the body.
I started 20 hours of fasting four hours of eating. I need to drop about30 pounds
I just finished day 3 of day 5 days, Feeling good so far. I'm drinking 8 bottles of 12 oz water, one black coffee and about five✌ 12oz, Gatorade Zeros per day.
