This experiment is designed to show you the curvature of space-time and we used fabric as space-time and showed it in two dimensions, while our space is 4-dimensional, we call it modeling in physics. We design a simple experiment and then generalize it to higher dimensions and write its equations.

For anyone Wondering, no the earth will not eventually spiral into the sun. This is because there is no friction when the earth moves in space. it is explaining the curvature of space time.

so basically from the best of my knowledge large mass celestial bodies (such as our sun) actually bends spacetime (the fourth dimension) and so the planets that are "orbiting" the star are actually slowly falling into the gravitational pull of the star. but if i remember my reading from a brief history of time, einsteins theory of relativity (although it could be newtons theory of gravity i don't know that well) says that external forces are against the bent spacetime forces, to it equalizes out and the orbiting planets don't move. take all this with a grain of salt i don't have like a degree in this stuff or smth god what is happening in the replies

Space-time is in four dimensions, but I have shown it in three dimensions in this video, and that's why I said that space-time is like this in three dimensions. Don't forget that we are 3D creatures and we don't have the ability to understand the 4th dimension

Out of the box is when you realise that they use gravity to prove gravity.

Unfortunately ,I didn't study science lack of money and my mental state was not that good to understand these complex theories...but i loved science like I once loved my aspirations and goals.

We can't explain gravity without using gravity. So its not an explanation, its experimentation.

I can’t understand how space time is being compared with fabric/cloth like material 😮

To those who are confused, this video is showing how heavy objects such as stars and black holes bend the fabric of space and how their gravitational pull is keeping other space objects in their orbit. However, a black hole is obviously much much heavier and has an unimaginably much stronger gravitational pull that not even light can escape it. Edit: Heavy objects such as stars also slow down time.
