I got 5/5 because life has taught me that true happiness is when you are at peace with yourself.
4, still fighting for the first one 😂
5/5 after a long journey of excruciating lows and glorious highs, but peace and serenity are my main goals now ❤😊
Most people will score less than 5 because we are all working on these complex and often emotionally painful lessons as we go through life. The utility of looking at the facets of emotional maturity is to guide us on our way. No learning or wisdom is gained without plenty of awareness first. So, please do not use this as a tool for self-criticism or self-loathing, but as a signpost towards who you are becoming. For more follow me or check out my two bestselling books ❤
5/5 after a lot of shame, hard times, let down, treated badly and rudely by people, narcissists, bullies. Thanks for sharing. You are spot on.
3/5 still working on me and growing beyond this!
17 and still working to get all five someday🙏
I got 0 but it’s not cus I’m immature it’s cus I don’t know how to deal with my emotions
Wow…. I didn’t expect that… 5/5… Hard work and growth pay off❤️
Sometimes we forget that constant expectations can limit us more than they motivate us. Expect Less, Live More reminds us that happiness is in simplicity, appreciating little moments, and being grateful for what we have. Expecting less doesn’t mean having less ambition; it just means not letting our inner happiness depend on things we can’t control. Emotional maturity isn’t about never feeling anger or frustration. It’s about handling emotions responsibly, communicating honestly, and showing empathy. True maturity helps us navigate life with calm and awareness, rather than letting feelings control us. I recently read Let Your Soul Speak Through Your Eyes by Camilla Drosven. It’s full of practical insights on boundaries and emotional resilience. Her advice is personal yet universal, making it easy to apply to your own life. Don’t sleep on it.
3. Saying I was wrong, that one I’m still fighting.
4/5 I am a second year psychologist and I have learned some stuff, but I am still struggling with the last one because I see/want to see only the good in people and try to change them according to my expectations.
As a Psychology graduate and someone who scored all 5, she's right. So few people demonstrate the emotional maturity I would like to surround myself with.
I'm finally emotionally mature 😊 took a long time. I was very turbulent, but now I'm here 🙏
I'm struggling to cope with the end of my five-year relationship. Despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to win him back, and the pain of his absence is overwhelming.
Still working on 2 and 5. Tricky stuff this emotional maturity, but every day getting clearer.
I am sixty two years old and just got 5 out of 5 in the last month. Still struggling with 3 to be honest. It's hard not to tell our "WHY" we made a bad choice. Not an excuse just a reason. ❤ You're the best.❤
Im 13 years old and happy to say i got all of them. I'd say im good at admitting I was wrong. I've worked on my stubborness a lot. If someone doesn't respect me, i dont chase them but see if they'll come to me. I just say im wrong when i know i am. Success is meant to be appreciated. People shouldn't change for others. If they aren't right for you, let it be.
Psychology student here... and here to admit that the last one (for me) is still the one that might turn into a reason of disappointment, sense of failure. Every so often, I hear that people can change, I study and realising how this can be achieved. But there is a significant note: change won't come on her one, one has to want it and walk through that path. And may we realise that there are no magic trics Salutations from beautiful Greece
Think I've passed the test...at 68 Im still learning but have to work at it daily ...thank you for your continued help and advice❤❤
