If you observed a bit, you could tell the big monkey was the only one still climbing (because monkeys move in troops) and was already facing the direction of the baby—likely meaning she was coming down to grab it or waiting for it to come up itself. At the end, once she grabs the child, she jumps up the tree easily (why would she still be climbing if her troop was gone and it was easy for her to reach the top already?) This is likely the child’s mother. (LIKELY, not ACTUALLY).
