most airport scanners these days are actually density scanners, so it’s not the iron in the blood affecting it at all, it’s just the additional density and padding of what absorption material. Part of the reason I know this is it doesn’t go off on my internal metal hardware, but it does go off on my sister‘s scar tissue.
