My first reaction was like, where can you buy one? Hearing you built it yourself makes me think you're on to something.
The raspberry pi is truly the Paperclip of the modern era...
That's absolutely astounding. My jaw dropped when I heard "I built this myself"
As seen on Prometheus.. 😏
Very nice work, are you planning on doing a build tutorial or releasing any code for this project?
Can you show the build files? Like the .Stl file & the parts used & code for the Raspberry pi. I would like to do this as well. Thanks, very cool project!
Does this Lidar not damage every security camera sensor in there? And phone camera’s of course.
Astonishing work.
Sweet, now go to one of the great pyramids, I hear they have issues scanning with modern scanners
this can't be real, a similar professional device costs something like $15k MINIMUM, i know because i had me dreams crushed by a professional.
Pretty cool stuff, I'd imagine that would be a rather expensive device.
I hear government officials clutching their pearls and figuring out ways to stop you from doing this.
Look into Ouster Lidar sensors, they're acheiving some fairly interesting innovations. For example "Color native" Lidar, and ruggedized products.
Super awesome!!
Where's the build details??
This needs thousands of more likes.
So what's the sensor .. which i think is the premade thing ?
How you‘ve build it?
