Been using Siri since Monday and it’s INSANE. By the way it can take almost any action within an app once the app is open. You can get directions in Google Maps, Compose an email in Gmail, listen to a specific song or playlist in Spotify and etc. right now, while apps take their sweet time to implement intents, you can first ask Siri to open the app and then ask it to do something. It’s absolutely incredible. Love it.

I feel like Marques doesn’t really know how AI models work. There are lots of companies out there distilling Claude’s model secretly without signing any contracts, and Apple just happens to be the one that does it legally, paying Google to distill their model publicly.
That spacial reframe was conceptualized in an anime episode of the anime/cartoon doremon in an ep where nobita the protagonist goes out with his friends but the rich snobby friend cuts him out of all the photos and then doremon helps nobita using a gadget that creates a 3D scene and basically recalibrate the photo to include nobita properly in the photo... so now finally my childhood dream of doremon gadgets coming to reality is becoming a reality
