3 year software support is crazy for "quality" tech

bruh, i literally bought a series 8 instead of the 5 so i didn’t have to worry about not being able to update 💔

I have a super old Apple watch series 3 with watchOS 8 but holy hell is it reliable. I still use it to text, call, play small games, and it even recieved an update for security and extending the iMessage certificate to let older Apple watch models still work for texting and calling. Thanks Apple 😌

I upgraded and got new gear at the same time a couple years back so I have a m1 pro macbook, 15 pro max, and series 9 watch. I barely made the cutoff for the update 💀

That part of phasing out old devices by restricting software updates is why I ditched apple. I wasn't even out of date, and now I'm on a Pixel Pro XL
