In Switzerland we get no spam calls. We have laws to prevent that.
I receive 7/8 spam calls a day. They all have the same topic which for the last several weeks are finance related. Qualified for a loan, debt relief etc.
I have this feature from last year when we updated to ios 26
A month?! That’s a f-ing day for me!
This feature has been available for quite a while. Works very well.
I’m sorry but have you been under a rock?! This feature has been out for MONTHS!!!!
I like how the carrier labels it Spam and sends it anyway
I love the fact that you're showing the loan spam call. I get about 1-2 of those calls during the weekday. I've lost count of the number of times I've blocked/reported those calls.
Silence is the only way to go for me. If I don’t have you in my contacts, then I don’t want to talk to you.
PIxels have had this for eons. Crazy it took apple of all companies this long to implement this on Iphones.
I like the 'ask reason for calling' feature. The only problem is that the phone stills rings, forcing me to pick it up, then go through the tedious and useless process of blocking the number and reporting spam. What we really need is for the 'Do Not Call' registry to work properly. That, or fire up the Beekeepers.
Google Pixels have had this feature since 2018. That's the main reason I switched. I can't even tell you the last time I've actually had a spam call (or unknown) caller come through. Not having your phone ring is an amazing thing! Glad to see Apple finally getting it figured out.
Despite the Verizon call filter and using an iPhone, I still get about a dozen a day. Almost forgot to say, often-times I get many calls from a variety of physicians/services which are not in my contacts as their offices are reluctant to share their alternate phone numbers. I'll have their main phone number in my contacts, but they don't call me from the main number! Thanks for your great videos. Always helpful.
Google phones have this, for me it works perfectly. I haven't answered a spam call in years, I don't even remember what answering spam calls is like.
Not really new feature. I have had a version of this for at least two or three years. The choice was a toggle: stop all calls from People not in your contact list. Or do not turn on the toggle. That eliminated all spam calls.
When I receive spam calls I first check if message was left. If not, I tap the info circle on main screen to the right of the number. A screen opens, I scan down and select BLOCK CALLER. Done and Done. easy peasy
I have 12 a day and I have one they call me every day for over a year and they never give up
I get 30-50 spam calls a day. Why doesn't Apple simply offer an option to completely block these scumbags? As in NO OPTION FOR THEM TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.
Hasn’t this been there for a few years?
I get well over that amount, but my Pixel does this and Pixels have done this since 2018. I am glad that Apple has started to also do this.
