Green and Purple are the colors of the Keyboard and Mouse. Those are suggested keyboard and mouse inputs because of their original connectors color coding prior to USB.

My Lenovo t480 laptop has two black usb 3.1 ports. Good guide tho, commonly is a good way to put it as many devices and accessories especially gaming ones use whatever color they want.
