I don't think it's punishment to not want kids zombified by constant social media

These are the type of phones we should be giving kids. Social media has been one of humanity biggest mistakes we made for ourselves. And i know if i give this to my kid their either going to figure out how to code to crack it and let them onto social media or not use it for that

They’d think it was punishment but it’s really because you love them and want them to thrive away from social media

Pricey for a flip phone!

Honestly I respect that they keep making basic phones

The real advantage of a phone like this is hot spotting it to a phone or tablet where you browse the Internet or social media. Because even when you block tracking, your phone collects usage/app data and sends that to the network provider. How much and what data cell companies are collecting isn't well known. But connecting to a hotspot instead of directly to the network blocks much of this tracking.

I would love to get one. I think it's expensive because Commodore hasn't got many products just yet.

7X cheaper and it may have been an interesting option...

500 bones is a lot for a flip phone with a 1550Mah battery and isn't super powerful

Rather pricey, but in concept, I love it!
