You've reached the end
I wonder if green lantern has such problems as well
He literally let go of a million dollar lawsuit 😭💔
Wtf does a smart ring even do?
He was a beta tester btw he willingly tried it out to give feedback to Samsung and after this Samsung fixed the issue and gave him a new one
I didn't even know smart rings were a thing
Call me a caveman, I didn't know smart rings were a thing
Just a thing to note. Lithium ion Batteries when kept FULLY CHARGED, or FULLY DISCHARGED for long periods of time do show these symptoms (especially Samsung). in the above mentioned case, he kept his ring fully discharged and did not use it for like months. and then decided to fully charge it and use it which lead to this happening. Same will happen to most phones, smartwatches, etc. which is why when you buy a new phone or watch or any of such devices, you will find them at like 30% charge level. cause when they pack them, they charge them to like 75% and then they sit on shelves for months. which is also why many phone companies ask you to put your phone to charge when you switch it on for the first time. ofcourse if it is a new model/latest release, they will have higher battery charge, cause they have not been sitting in shelves for months. but yeah, bottom line is, do not keep you POWER BANKS, PHONES, WATCHES, etc FULLY CHARGE or EMPTY for long periods of time. some people keep their watch on the charger for weeks cause they use some other watch, which is also bad, cause it will keep charging the battery to 100% without draining it. which is also why newer smartphones have "battery protection" which limits the charge to 85%, it not only helps for longer battery life, but also helps avoid such issues.
The heck is an Smart Ring? WHY is a thing?
''That's not... the ThornRing... is it...?''
With Samsung’s history with batteries. I’m not surprised.

Samsung should look into why their batteries keep failing

Willfully ignoring the fact that Samsung took the ring to find out what was wrong with it and also bought him a hotel room.
