I remember once, I locked my van, but it didn't beep. Found it odd, but figured I'd have it looked at with my next appt. The next day, I was at my parent's place and wanted to prank my brother. Hit the panic button as he walked past. Lights flashed, no noise. Decided to call my mechanic and move the appt up a bit. On my way to the appt, someone almost hit me head on and I slammed my hand on the horn. Silence. At the appt, they took pictures because they had never seen wires so corroded. I hated that vehicle so much.
