For anyone wondering the medical condition is called mega esophagus and basically it creates this pet and the dogs esophagus that traps food so it cannot be pushed down so they have to eat standing up so gravity can take it down. Hope this helped.

I do rescue work on weekends. Drove from FL to GA and picked up a Female GSD with eMeg. They pulled the euthanasia needle from her leg and gave her to me. Drove her 7 hours back to FL. The rescue found her a foster, and they struggled as she also had a broke leg in SEVEN places! That was easy...the eMeg feedings were a PITA. I bought her this chair, called a Bailey Chair, and she thrived. She does the same thing...she knows it is feeding time and puts herself in that chair. She is now adopted and living her best life!
