AD - Why do I get this spark when I unplug my hair dryer?

As someone who despises ads, this is an excellent format even down to the "AD" prefix clearly visible in the name regardless of screen format/resolution.

This ad is better than most actual content on YouTube

I like these kinds of ads They bring more inherent value to the viewer than just a regular paid promotion because of the learning aspect of it we should have more ads like these

The part about the spark you didn't mention is that it doesn't need to jump that whole 1 cm air gap in one go. The spark starts when the plug first breaks contact with the socket, at fractions of a mm of separation. Once that initial tiny spark creates an ionized air path it takes much less voltage to stretch that path out than it would to jump an equivalent distance through unionized air (the basis behind the cool looking Jacobs ladder arc machine)

You know what, I've never clicked on or checked out any ad from anyone, but this type of video compels me to click on the product and check it out So I will try it

An AD that actually teaches fundamental physics. Can't be mad at that.
