You've reached the end
Remember when Dave Plummer scammed millions in the 2000s and when Endermam called him out last year he tried to silence him?
“The original windows task manager” you guys are in good hands
Remember that Dave Plummer is not who he presents himself as. He scammed millions of dollars from customer with his software business. He has been in court several times and has faced criminal charges.
The tabs thing is nice, but that's it
I've switched to notepad++ long ago, but yeah, notepad should be the simplest thing. Tabs are the only additional feature that would be nice to have from the original one.
Tabs are practical tho
Tabs are pretty cool actually
Today I'm learning so many things. That Dave not only invented task manager, but then also scammed a bunch of people. Wow. What a day to be completely outside the microslop ecosystem.
okay but the tabs are REALLY useful
The only real feature in the current one that I would probably the tabs. Everything else was just bloat
So, he turned notepad to the Windows 3.1 notepad
Okay but persistent tabs are actually a good thing in notepad
Make me CEO of Microsoft and here is what I'd do 1. Copilot is optional. Could easily be disabled in settings. 2. Decreasing RAM usage for windows. 3. No apps that you didn't agree too will be naturally installed in windows. You choose what you need.
Pro tip: If you don't like Copilot, you can just uninstall it. It's not built into the operating system, or locked to the system files. You can just uninstall it like any other program. I think I've only had it come back once. It hasn't come back since. That said, as great as the simplicity of old Notepad was, I do like the tabs for the sole reason that it remembers your open tabs when you close it, which makes it much more useful for quick notes that I can throw away later if I don't need them anymore. I do use it with formatting turned off, though.
I didn't even know it was THAT bad. I'm gonna keep my win10 untill the day of microslop death
Dave Plummer is a name that immediately made me perk up... What a _character_ that one is
The factq that its tinier than the logo is crazy
Didn’t expect a notepad vid today
I actually enjoy the tabs in notepad quite a lot
Notepad++ for the win
