My first criticism was going to be the crazy grid strain, but then the buffer batteries were the first explained subject. Nice video!
Those buffers are going to be worked WAY harder than the batteries in your EV. A great case study in battery chemistry longevity.
Those "Buffer batteries" can also work as grid stabilizer during peak demand and power outages due to grid accidents or disaster situations.
"THOUSANDS" of charging stations within months in Europe? Guess, the Chinese engineers haven't done their calculations with German bureaucrats in mind. However: Good luck!

BYD is what oil or car companies dream to become but also are deeply afraid. Charging station, battery, vehicle all from one single company.
Here in the U.S. I'm worried about how fast we're falling behind in science and technology.
I'm holding on to my 2022 Ioniq 5 for a few more years while all this battery/ charging stuff continues to sort itself out. As Ryan pointed out, I charge overnight and only do a few road trips a year, so all this next gen stuff isn't make or break for me. Stopping for 20 minutes every 200 miles is about what my body needs anyway.
I liked the video and found it interesting, however what does "partnering" mean in this context? Is it a partnership so you could access their resources and teams to ask questions, or does it mean sponsorship and the video is an ad?
It will be interesting to see in a few years what capacity the battery will have due to such fast charging.
I remember seeing how tower bridge used steam to raise and lower the bastions. They used a similar system to store steam pressure in vessels called accumulators . When they need to raise the bastial adding a few pounds of steam to the accumulatior was enough to achieve the lift. What ever time you live in engineering and engineers are brilliant 😊

Charging time is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome for mass adoption, for so many people including myself that don't have space for home charging these numbers are pretty game changing. Basically the only thing left to solve is the cost of battery production, which is going to drop as manufacturing scales.Hype!
