That's why baby chicks should never be used as Easter gifts! They are adorable but unless you know what you are doing they will lose their cuteness and appeal and be dumped! You did the right thing with the hot water bottle. They will make noise throughout the night because they miss their mother. Your hot water bottle became the warmth your chick needed to feel safe. A folded towel with your chick under it will make it think it's under a hen. Even if the chick has never been around a hen they will instinctually settle down and go to sleep. Bless you and enjoy your new feather baby!

The chick was covered in paint it was bad but since growed up the chick got so lucky to be alive if it left still abandoned it will die of the paint thank you for rescueing him have a nice day
