What my TV needs to do: Work like a TV and don’t be too expensive.
This costs less than 16gbs of ram. Let that sink in for a moment
It’s the perfect extra tv. Kids room, basement, office, etc. when you just need a tv.
i got this and a spider died in it and everytime i turn it on i can see a dead spider in the corner
200$, 55", Insignia, I wonder why this could be selling so well...
Giving it a 1 star review because you couldn't find the power cable seems more like a YOU problem rather than a TV problem.
I work at Best Buy so I literally said the model number out loud like some sleeper agent being activated before linus could lol.
It's a 55" 4K smart TV for $180. There. That's why. That's why everyone is buying it.
I truly received the 43-inch version of this television. We didn't need anything extravagant. It cost $139 and was simply replacing a modest 24" 720p TV. It was a significant upgrade for us, but it was still really reasonable
Can you do a packet capture and see how much they are making on the side selling your data?
As someone who grew up with a 19" CRT in the living room, it's funny that 55" is now modest.
It is very simple. Most common family households do not care! It is 200 bucks.
People used to trample over each other for 55” TVs this price during Black Friday sales
0:18 Because most people dont care about stats or unstand anything about TV technology. Its big... cheap... and smart.
I have seen so many of these things used as multi screen displays for static images like a digital menu at pizza parlors and similar locations. Cheap enough to use for a while and then recycle when it dies to replace it outright.
In 2010 my mom bought a $2000 plasma TV from best buy. Had it delivered and even sprung for professional calibration, lasted about 8 years. When it died she didn't want to spend as much money on a new one so I took her down to costco and picked out a 50" Vizio for $230. 50" because it was the largest that would fit in my car. She was completely happy with it. Loved that it ha Roku built into it because I had bought her a Roku box years earlier and she already knew how to use it. A lot of people don't need the top of the line.
“Because it’s and is 4k and hdr and 55in” for 200 bucks”
My dad always says "cheap is not always cheap".
I literally got the 43" version of this TV. We didn't need anything fancy. It was $139 and was purely replacing a small 24" 720p TV. It was a massive upgrade for us, but still very affordable.
People are buying $200 TVs because people are broke and most haven’t had the pleasure of living with a nice OLED to even know what the difference is.
