I was a car mechanic but then went back to polytech, retrained as an electronics technician, started repairing computers and have now been in the IT industry for 40 years. However, despite being close to retirement, I STILL do all my own car and motorcycle repairs. Computers is where the money was, but engines is where my heart was and is.
