Well I guess we're making a DDR3 build
I thought those ram companies were being sued for falsely inflating prices.
looking forward to DDR1 builds in 2029

Me after I graduated and got a job to start saving for a PC: "Annnnd of course the world started to burn itself when I wanted to build my own PC"
Can't wait for "I'm tech influencer, and i'm building a gaming PC with the same stuff they used to land on the moon for the first time"
As soon as they made something that would allow for DDR4 RAM to be put into DDR5 slots I knew this would happen.
Welp, I'm going back to my old i7-4790k and DDR3 kit
I'm pretty sure there are several woodworkers out there missing fingers that would disagree that a table saw only robs you once.
They need to just ban AI data centers from any ram purchases for 10 years
I'm genuinely gonna crash out atp 🥀
So ai has the good stuff,the mid range stuff,the bad stuff,the scraps,and the left overs,man WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO HAVE
Good thing I upgraded my PC (still on ddr4 but with a CPU that can run a 5070) before all this shenanigans.

The end game is the death of personal computing. That is their plan. They dont want us doing our own compute.
The sad thing is that many of these ai data centers haven't even purchased it yet, they're working on theoretical forecasts and "promise to buy"
A lot of offices just throw away their old towers and junk. They'll probably take the hard drive out, but all the other stuff is still in them.
Day by day im crossing my fingers even harder hoping my 32gb ddr5 ram doesnt start malfunctioning
