Instant Electronics closed it's doors for the final time in September 2007, I spent 20+ years working as a bench engineer there - I might even have done the repair on that very cassette deck.
This channel is single-handedly the best repair channel you can find on YouTube. Still, I can't imagine why this guy has no more subscribers! The attention to detail and the explanation of how he fixes things are second to none. Even when you have no affiliation with electronic repair, you will enjoy these repair videos. After each video, you say to yourself, I didn't know that I liked fixing electronics that much, and as a matter of fact, I learned something! Doesn't matter what he repairs; it's always a great joy watching him do his thing. Let's get this guy more subscribers ASAP!

Pure bliss after a long day, to sit down and enjoy this gentleman lovingly restore one of the machines. Most of us have no idea how they work or how to repair one. Being a kid of the 60's, I learned the basics of it, but have not touched one in decades. Watching this, is like stepping back in time, guided by a soothing voice that shares the secrets.
