I can’t even count how many times a child has annoyingly tried to tap my macbook screen, and even I had short rare moments of attempting to do so myself after being so used to having it on my school-issued hybrid notebooks. I feel like in the grand scheme of things, 10-20 years from now as tech and generations evolve, we’ll wonder how we even managed to use laptops without touchscreens similar to smartphones back in the 2000s (on a smaller scale obviously). But this is all coming from a late-2000s former “ipad kid”, so I may be biased. To us, that prospect could be seen as nightmarish and ridiculous, but to the kids that are being born as you’re reading this, they’d probably love it
