I get what he's saying but if he doesn't bench Olise then Olise needs to fined. There needs to be a consequence that is heavier than simply locking the door. Also the same consequence needs to apply for the rest of the team

In a way he makes sense, but the player will only think "ehh, I don't need to train, I am the best player, I'm going to play anyways" there needs to be some sort of consequence for breaking the rules or arriving late. Hansi Flick does it well... Don't care who you are, you are sitting on the bench next game. Everyone knows there's no playing with him.

The problem starts with when you now want to reprimand players you aren’t “my best players” for similar acts And when you want it to be general mgt style for everyone, will be the birth of indiscipline across the camp.
