Idk man. Im just at a point where im happy to have a gaming PC. Realistically im set for the next 10 years, im on AM5. I have a 9060xt 16 gig and a 7600x with 32 GB of ram. I still love PC building, but these prices kill a lot of my excitement to wanna upgrade.

Unfortunately, there won't be a big difference in *_raw performance_* anymore, as there aren't such massive leaps in manufacturing technology. What we can expect to see a big jump in are the *_co-processor units_* used for *_AI upscaling_* or which can also be used for other tasks. And the *_co-processors_* used for *_real-time ray tracing_* and *_path tracing_* too. With this, it is even possible that in the near future, there won't be any *_FPS_* difference whether these features are turned on or off. edit: This does not mean that the near-multi-percentage increases will be lost or will not continue, but that since manufacturing technology is not improving and these *_compute units_* have been developed, shaped and refined for more than _30_ years, there is very little chance and opportunity for a technical leap as big as the *_Nvidia GeForce 900_* series to the *_1000_* series. However, where the great progress will be very noticeable is in the _co-processor_ units.
