Who knows if they even changed the Engine. They could have stuffed that breather hose with steel wool, cleaned the Engine bay, and told the owner they changed the Engine. Over and over again. I have a shop in an industrial complex, I've seen a lot of scams some mechanics pull on unsuspecting people.
