3:13 The foam will deteriorate over time, so the idea is that it can be easily replaced. Glue is a no-go, but they could have made some sort of flaps to keep it in place.
I have the IETS GT600 from Amazon, which is basically the same cooling concept as this one, and it has been an absolute game changer for me.

I got the Chinese knock off one for only $30. it got the same memory foam and single fan in the middle. And it does cool my laptop down up to 20c. I think the foam is the recipe

i own this fan. its the truth. happiest ive been, only con is it can be a bit loud once you go over 1800, but if you have loud speakers it drowns it out.

Glad you featured this! I got one of these a few months ago and it's crazy how well it does. I can run it at around 800-1000 rpm and the laptop fans will hardly even try to spool up (depending on the game of course). Cooler AND quieter is a nice win-win. But yeah, not exactly portable lol Two side notes for those interested: the feet on the cooler have a second piece that can fold out from "inside" the main foot so you can have it at a pretty decent angle if you want. Secondly, the foam is so soft that unless your laptop is ultra light and you have it at a high angle you'll never need those flip-up catches on the front. I just set the laptop on the foam and it literally never moves unless I'm doing the moving
