Graham explains why value for money matters more to him than brand loyalty. He has owned Toyotas, but the GQ and GU Patrols gave him the 4WD capability he wanted for less money. #4WD247 #NissanPatrol #ToyotaLandCruiser #ToyotaVsNissan #GQPatrol #GUPatrol #4WD #YouTubeShorts

Remember, for a while, he drove a Dmax.
Yup. The Toyota Tax. It’s a real thing.
Hes not wrong, right now is a good example in that the latest patrol is significantly cheaper and prob better. From a bloke with 3 cruisers...
Very respectable answer
My feelings aswell. I have never found any Toyota better value for money. I drive Nissan. Much better value for money. And just as good as a Toyota. Toyota's do hold their money value better.
Very arguable Nissan are way tuffer vehicle's where as Toyota's are very weak (drive trainwise), Toyota engines have a good name for them yes but are still very problematic but no one talks about it, they keep it on the hush, you are frowned upon saying a Toyota let you down it's crazy. All cars are good and reliable if they are taken care of
Here in the US I went with the D40 Frontier over Tacoma. More power, fully boxed frame, rear disc brakes, better seats, better view over the bonnet, better looking front end, and you save $10,000
GQ wagon loved it. TF Rodeo loved it. 95 series Prado love it. If it gets you out there, love it
It also comes down to personal preference
I agree Toyota and Nissan have the same quality and durability but Nissan has a better value.
Toyota is the top dog end of story
How does this even work Graham? What's the point of looking for 'value for money'? A product only has VALUE if it has quality and is durable. Quality for money will not save me. There is no such thing as Quality for money in the 4x4 realm where getting out is as important as getting in.
Nissan Chose you😊
Nissan anything in America is garbage. They almost went out of business, Honda almost bought them out, bust bailed at the last minute. They are made by Renault which is not good at all. So there’s that. They just be different over there
Nissans are better value for money
Respect Sir, honesty and a valid argument.
Same here not a brand loyal I can drive anything. Brand loyalty can get u locked in
The NP300 ST-X is the best 4x4 Ute I’ve owned
Suzuki lj50 best bang for buck 4x4 l ever had went every where I pointed it
Nissan. Always been as good and reliable as Toyota without the Toyota tax. I find Nissans cars far more interesting… It’s Nissans head honchos that have let Nissan down over the years. But i’m a Nissan man for sure.. got a GQ Patrol and a GT-R… 👑
