Bro reloaded a GPU
Just another poser pretending to be a legitimate tech. Using Noctua paste on a bare die tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge, or rather lack thereof, in this field. NT-H1 & NT-H2 are some of the absolute worst thermal compounds you can use on a bare die. It pumps out in less than 6 months. The card was better before you touched it.
Reloading your GPU is faster then repasting it.
Do this only if you are getting very high temps. Otherwise don't open it, thermal putty is good but hard to remove and apply again right. If card is behaving normal leave it and enjoy.
Your making it looks easy but it's very nervousing especially if it an expensive gpu
Repasting/padding is generally done for old GPUs, like 4+ years old. It should not be needed for a GPU as recent as the 9070 XT. Either your GPU is defective or you did an unnecessary 'upgrade'.
I have a solid suspicion that the 50 series gigabyte cards "advanced" thermal interface was really just a cheaper and quicker process that shot them in the foot when it started dripping out
I would rather use PTM7950 instead of past, the PTM7950 does not squeeze out over time and is said to last 2 to 3 years before reapplication is required. Same goes for Laptops.
Please use thermal pad on vram, vrm, and mosfet also make sure the thickness and size match for the chip
This year. Marked as the first time ever I tried repasting my own gadgets. From my Speaker's Transistors even the Laptop's Processor It's tricky but I succesfully do that 😅
Seeing IPA loosen up and wash away old paste is like ASMR for my eyes and soul
Please go with PTM 7950 next time so you don't have to repaste the GPU ever again
Bro has a gpu gun before gta 6💀💀
This is putty on the vram and vrms, use UTP-8 from Upsiren and PTM7950 for the bare gpu die. You will have much better temps
You should also mention that it's INCREDIBLY easy to mess up your GPU while doing this.
Bro if I had a 4090 or smth, I would guard that with my life and not even let a hydrogen molecule touch it, let alone open it😂
I myself dumped an entire 2 tubes of past onto the gpu and the temps where great
Totally unnecessary until you’re ruuning the gpu for over 4-5 years. Then consider doing it.
how am i to stay tuned for the pad part when the video ends?
