After watching Scotland’s first two World Cup games in Boston, my brother Hugh and I needed to travel more than 1,500 miles from Boston to Miami for Scotland’s final group match. Instead of flying, we hired a huge 9-metre RV and set off on what we hoped would be an unforgettable USA road trip. The only problem was that we had just four days to get there, and our RV pickup got off to a disastrous start. In this USA road trip adventure, we attempt to collect our Indie Campers RV near Boston, only to receive conflicting pickup addresses, cancelled bedding and no staff waiting for us. It quickly turned into an RV rental disaster and a road trip gone wrong before we’d even left the car park. Once the motorhome finally arrived, we experienced Walmart for the first time, stocked up for our journey and prepared for our first time driving an RV in America. This is just the beginning of our Boston to Miami RV road trip and East Coast USA road trip, with more than 1,500 miles still ahead of us....
