So much more could have been said. The design brief for the car is a royal finger to the digital age, with glorious industrial design over hi-tech performance engineering. The Hartley/Palmerston/NZ connection is cool but the level of info was.... a bit lame.

I meant Brendan Hartley at Wanganui Speedway so still a small town boy despite all of his Formula One stuff. he was really down to earth knew his speedway we chatted for a few minutes- really modest guy didn’t even talk about his F1 stuff until I asked. he was really looking at who I thought the best local driver was at the little old Whanganui track!
What an odd interview? Byran is a well known engine builder, who has owned his own workshop in Palmerston North for many years. Nelson has also proven to be very talented, his V12 engine has been used by a local drift competitor, for at least 8 years.

What he omitted to say (I think one of the most amazing and special things when many engines are pretty much ordinary with the same basic formula )is that it is one of the highest (if not the highest ) specific engine output for any automotive non-forced aspiration engine so it is a huge technology and huge kudos. it is right up there with motorbike engines in terms of output for an engine size hence revving to silly numbers for an automotive engine I think 10 to 12,000 RPM!
