When you are deep into tech stuff, you realize agentic AI has its pros and cons and the general public can't really has the knowledge to draw this line It's cool to have someone does most of the work, but it is not cool when it makes mistakes It's AI era, but you should be trained on the security of it and also the domain knowledge
Thanks for highlighting you took the step to use a isolated machine (a new Mac Mini). Would you share how you get the download files from the broker over to your Mac Mini in order for AI agent to update the trading log? This is to keep the Mac Mini isolated from the home network. (I presume to avoid logging in online directly to broker or financial institution with the isolated mac mini. ) e.g. Air-gapped computer with (1) "sneakernet" method using dedicted write protected USB, (2) Physical Data Diode (connect your main machine to send one way only to Mac Mini) oe (3) other practice you use Given financial account/asset involved, audiences here may not all be tech-savvy. When this AI approach is introduced here, my humble input, it might be worth mentioning this consideration as such people can research and consider on their own.
