I have a LG ultragear monitor connected to my laptop and i just checked. And yep, found this program installed… This is all getting ridiculous. I know this word gets thrown around a lot but "dystopian" comes to mind when i think about this mess.

Its still spyware even if its not coming from a necessarily "malicious" actor, if you don't get ads but they collect data... thats spyware

Another reason to run linux. Most apps like this just dont work on linux and depending on distro the pc cant just download and install stuff on its own.
